Woodway-original Slow Rise Slice House is opening its second location, Slow Rise on the Brazos, today at 5:00 p.m., in the former Manny’s on the River location at 1620 North M.L.K. Jr Blvd., Waco, TX 76704.
Slow Rise’s New York-style pizza is made completely from scratch through a laborious process. They allow their special recipe dough to ferment and rise slowly—this is the heart of their pizza. The pizzeria’s recipes and pies are unique, not your standard fare. The restaurant strives to provide fresh, locally sourced ingredients to serve “the best slices in Central Texas.”
