Shorty’s Pizza Shack, a family-owned pizza place near the Baylor campus, is building a second Waco location according to building permit records. The permit for Shorty’s Pizza #2 was issued on April 11, 2022. Shorty’s Pizza #2 is being built at 8640 La Village Avenue. Records indicate the new eatery will be close to 7,000 square feet with a maximum occupant capacity of 306 people.
