Ras Kitchen, the restaurant where patrons “step out of Texas and into Jamaica,” recently celebrated the 1-year anniversary of a big step in growing their locally-owned business: moving from Killeen to 17 South Main in Downtown Temple. The restaurant’s business model went upscale when they made to move to their new meticulously-restored historic building that features a large granite bar, pressed tin ceilings, and an elegant curved staircase (and elevator) leading to the new Ras Kitchen’s large event space.
