Velvet Taco, a restaurant group “founded on the idea that tacos don’t have to be associated with Tex-Mex cuisine and can be made with the same care and quality ingredients as fine dining,” is building a Waco location at 1021 S Jack Kultgen Expressway. According to the restaurant’s Facebook page, “Velvet Taco is set out to elevate the taco through globally inspired recipes and the freshest ingredients. We provide a broad sampling of international tastes and inventive combinations, delivering flavors that are as memorable as they are delicious.”
