Six new businesses opening soon in Belton’s MK&T Depot

Belton’s MK&T Depot and the neighboring Katy Building are being redeveloped as a railroad-themed retail center. So far a diner, a coffee shop, a cookie shop, a creperie, a Puerto Rican eatery, and a bookstore featuring booze are slated to open at MK&T. Here are details on businesses that are finishing out spaces in Belton’s newest and most unique retail development.

More places I can not go, as a person who is highly allergic to peanuts, peanut residue and tree nuts. I would so like to see business in the area that caters to this allergy. Also I would like to see more organic eateries that cater to this allergy. There are so many pop up shops and eateries that do not address this part of the community. Believe it or not there are a lot more with this and other allergies and who believe that organics is the best and healthy food around. We would like it without the high cost. We know what organics cost and it is not outrageous.
