Lorena Police Department – This morning at 2:09 a.m., Officer Greer and his K-9 partner Drogen spotted a vehicle driving recklessly on IH 35. Officer Greer attempted to stop the vehicle but it failed to yield resulting in a pursuit being initiated. Officer Greer requested assistance from Troy PD who joined in the pursuit. After a lengthy pursuit, the suspect vehicle became disabled and came to a stop in Jarrell. Upon contact, Officer Greer discovered approximately 150 lbs of Marijuana in the vehicle. The suspect was also found to be wanted out of Bexar County for Burglary.
