CAVA Mediterranean Grill coming to spot near Baylor

Residents of Waco, Texas can soon enjoy Mediterranean-inspired cuisine as CAVA Mediterranean Grill is set to replace McAlister’s Deli at 812 S 6TH ST. The project, which is estimated to cost $650,000, involves an interior and exterior alteration of the existing restaurant suite. According to the building permit information, no change in use is proposed under this permit, and the work will be completed by September 15, 2023.

CAVA Mediterranean Grill was founded in 2010 by Ike Grigoropoulos, Chef Dimitri Moshovitis, Ted Xenohristos, and co-founder Brett Schulman. The restaurant chain’s inspiration is rooted in the Mediterranean way of life, where food plays a central role in culture and connection.
