Band Of Brothers BBQ is opening its new brick and mortar location today, located at 13178 Fort Hood Street in Killeen. The doors will open at noon and will continue until they close. The restaurant is urging its patrons to arrive early and bring an empty stomach, as well as their own beverages.
The barbecue joint was established in 2015, and the Pit Master’s passion for barbecue began 20 years ago. The restaurant started out as a catering service for parties and special events, and then progressed into a food truck. Band of Brothers BBQ opened its first restaurant in November 2019.
The restaurant features a main menu consisting of one, two, or three meat plates with two sides, a whole or half chicken, sausage, Braveheart Brisket, and ribs. There are also Band of Brothers Spuds, sandwiches, and a featured item, the Band of Brothers Monster Frito Pie.
The sides menu includes potato salad, smoked mac & cheese, pinto beans, and jalapeño ranch coleslaw. Beverage options include drinks, gallon tea, and homemade cobbler.
On Saturday, the restaurant will have a bounce house for children to play on while their parents enjoy their meals.
