Dollar General, a leading discount retailer, has started pulling permits to open a new store in Killeen, Texas. The new store, named Dollar General #24911, will be located on the east side of TX-195 at Lampasas River Lane in Bell County.
Construction of the new store is set to begin on June 30, 2023, and is expected to be completed by October 1, 2023, at an estimated cost of $1.3 million. The scope of work for the project includes preparing the site and constructing a new pre-engineered metal building with a CMU facade, along with a complete tenant infill/finishes package. The project is privately funded and on private land for private use.
The new Dollar General store will cover 10,640 square feet and will offer a range of affordable household items, groceries, and other everyday essentials to shoppers in the Killeen area.
