Waco Memorial Funeral Home, Cemetery & Cremations celebrated its Grand Opening yesterday, hosting four ribbon-cutting ceremonies in partnership with the Greater Waco Chamber, The Greater Robinson Chamber of Commerce, Greater Hewitt, and Cen-Tex Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. The newly constructed funeral home was brought to life by K4 Construction and features a modern hill country design.
The new facility is filled with natural light and includes a spacious chapel that can seat up to 180 people, an open foyer with the capacity to accommodate standing overflow, state-of-the-art audio/video capabilities, and a large multi-purpose room with seating for up to 80. The multi-purpose room can serve as a flexible space for receptions, large visitations, or small services, and is equipped with catering equipment. The funeral home also houses two visitation rooms with seating areas.
Waco Memorial Park, founded in 1947, has a history of providing a nonsectarian cemetery to ensure a peaceful and dignified environment for the departed. It is the only cemetery in the area with perpetual care established under the State of Texas Department of Banking. This ensures that a percentage of each lot sale is deposited into an irrevocable trust fund to provide upkeep for each lot forever, without requiring families to pay additional dues or assessments.
The funeral home serves numerous towns in Bell, Limestone, Bosque, Milam, Coryell, McLennan, Falls, Robertson, Hill, and Williamson counties. Waco Memorial Funeral Home is located at 6623 Interstate 35 S, Robinson, TX.
Community members gathered on March 21st at 4 pm to celebrate the grand opening, demonstrating strong support for the new funeral home. Waco Memorial Funeral Home looks forward to serving the communities in the surrounding areas.
