Herringbone: New Mixed-Use Development in Waco to Feature Retail, Restaurants, and Boutique Hotel

RAD LAB, a San Diego-based architecture firm, has unveiled plans for Herringbone, a new mixed-use development set to transform Waco, Texas. The $4 million project, which is privately funded, will include retail shops, restaurants, and a 21-room boutique hotel. Construction is scheduled to begin on January 2, 2023, and is estimated to be completed by August 1, 2023.

Herringbone will be a 38,650 sq ft development located at 319 South 4th Street in McLennan County. The project will incorporate a mix of new builds, repurposed shipping containers, and an existing warehouse to create a modern and innovative space. The development is expected to become a hub for entertainment and cultural events, showcasing RAD LAB’s expertise in shipping container architecture.
