The City of Waco has released its post-event report for the Donald J. Trump for President 2024 campaign rally held at the Waco Regional Airport on Saturday, March 25. According to the report, the city billed event organizers for property usage and services such as traffic control and public safety, and the bill was paid in full prior to the event.
The report also estimated the event attendance to be between 12,000 to 15,000 people, as estimated by the City of Waco Fire Marshal’s Office. However, no official count was recorded as event organizers did not track attendance.
While there were no major issues reported at the event and the rally did not cause any disruption to the standard flight schedule at Waco Regional Airport, traffic congestion was reported during the peak arrival time and post-event as attendees exited the parking lots.
Despite the large turnout, no damage to the grounds was reported, and event organizers removed equipment and cleaned the site following the rally.
