The Temple College Jazz Festival is back for 2023 and promises to be a weekend filled with world-class jazz performances, clinics, and competitions. The event will bring together hundreds of college, high school, and junior high musicians, along with top professional artists and clinicians.
The festival will take place at the Mary Alice Marshall Performing Arts Center on the campus of Temple College, which is widely recognized as one of the finest performing venues in Central Texas.
In addition to the outstanding performances, attendees can also participate in jazz jam sessions, held annually in the lobby of the Hilton Garden Inn in Temple. The hotel is offering a special festival rate of $120 per room for any out-of-town guests of the jazz festival.
The festival’s lineup features multiple Grammy Award-winning artist Ted Nash and Stefon Harris, one of the most important artists in jazz, according to The Los Angeles Times. The concerts will take place on Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 7:30 pm.
Tickets for the festival are available at the door, with prices starting at $5 for students and $20 for adults. Advance tickets may also be purchased at the Temple College Fine Arts Office.
