Heritage Park in Belton, Texas, experienced severe damage during the recent storm on April 2, including a baseball field that was impacted after a light standard was blown down. As a result, a week’s worth of youth baseball games had to be canceled, while insurance adjusters assess the extent of the damage and clean up the site. The park also sustained damage to several trees, a trash container, and six porta potties. In other parts of the city, a portable building at Belton High School had its roof damaged, and a city utility crew removed a fallen tree from a street.
