The World Hunger Relief Institute is partnering with Valley Mills Vineyards and Olive Branch for their “Spring Night on the Farm” fundraiser event. The event will take place at the Institute’s location on 365 Spring Lake Road in Waco, Texas, on April 28, 2023, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
This event marks the 47th birthday of the World Hunger Relief Institute, and they have planned a fun evening to celebrate with delicious food and local wines. The menu for the evening will feature small plates, highlighting the Institute’s home-grown produce and Valley Mills Vineyards’ local wine. Olive Branch, a Waco-based elevated comfort food restaurant, will provide their expertise in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The small-plate style of the meal will allow guests to mingle and explore the farm at their leisure.
Each ticket for the event costs $100 and includes an optional sunset tour of the farm, where attendees can peek at the Institute’s market garden, goats, mini cows, and livestock guardian dogs. All proceeds from the fundraiser will support the Spring 2023 Produce Prescription Cooking Program with Waco Family Medicine.
