The Waco Police Department’s Special Crimes Detectives have arrested 60-year-old Francisco Javier Sanchez for the murder of 41-year-old Josie Lucio Hernandez, which occurred on April 5, 2021, according to Public Information Officer Cierra Shipley.
Waco Police officers were initially called to a questionable death investigation on May 15, 2021, at a residence in the 900 block of Brown Avenue. Upon arrival, they found Hernandez deceased. Following an autopsy, it was determined that Hernandez had died from strangulation, and marks on her body were consistent with the autopsy results. Consequently, a warrant was issued for Sanchez’s arrest.
