Belton Independent School District (ISD) is holding an election on May 6 to fill two at-large seats open on the Board of Trustees. Voters will have the opportunity to choose between incumbent Janet Leigh, Rucker Preston, and Jason Wolfe.
The last day to register to vote for the election is April 6, and voters can visit votetexas.gov to check if they are registered and how to register if they are not. Early voting will take place from April 24 to May 2, between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Pittenger Fine Arts Center located at 400 N. Wall St. in Belton.
On May 6, voters can cast their ballots from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at either the T.B. Harris Community Center located at 401 N. Alexander in Belton or Tarver Elementary located at 7949 Stonehollow Dr. in Temple.
