Belton ISD Hosts First Parents as Partners Conference on April 22

Belton Independent School District is pleased to announce its inaugural Parents as Partners Conference, a free event designed to equip parents with valuable information and resources to support their children’s education. The conference will be held on April 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Belton Middle School.

Belton ISD is committed to partnering with parents to achieve its vision of empowering each learner to pursue their dreams and enrich their communities. According to Jennifer Bailey, the Executive Director of Communications and Community Engagement, the conference is another way the district is supporting parents on this educational journey.

Attendees can expect to participate in a variety of breakout sessions on topics such as study habits, social and emotional learning, nutrition, identifying risky behaviors, and the latest drug trends. Additionally, the conference will feature exhibitors and a complimentary lunch for all attendees.

“We believe this conference will be a valuable learning experience for families,” said Bailey. “Our hope is that parents will leave the event feeling more confident in their ability to support their child’s growth and learning.”
