Buc-ee’s, the popular Texas-based travel center chain, has announced plans to build a new car wash tunnel at its existing Temple location. The new construction project, set to begin on May 1st, 2023, and conclude by September 30th, 2023, will cost an estimated $6 million and cover 5,647 square feet.
With over 50 locations, Buc-ee’s has become a go-to destination for travelers seeking clean restrooms, tasty snacks, and souvenirs. However, only six of the chain’s locations currently offer a car wash, making this new addition to the Temple travel center especially exciting.
According to the company, the new car wash tunnel will provide a high-quality washing experience to motorists passing through the Temple area. The addition of the car wash is part of Buc-ee’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the travel center experience for its customers.
Buc-ee’s Temple location, located at 4155 N General Bruce Drive in Bell County, is open 24/7 and offers a variety of amenities, including a wide selection of snacks, beverages, and merchandise, as well as fuel and clean restrooms.
