The city of West, Texas is about to add a new attraction to its historic downtown area. The Historic, located at 218 N. Main Street, is currently undergoing a renovation project to transform the building into a wedding and event venue.
The project involves the interior renovation of an existing theater, including the addition of restroom facilities. The 4,716 square foot venue is expected to be completed by September 2023 at an estimated cost of $175,000. The Historic, one of the oldest buildings in downtown West, is expected to bring in more visitors to the area once it is open for business.
The Historic of West, the company behind the project, has not released any further details about the venue or its amenities. However, interested parties can stay tuned for updates as the renovation progresses.
