Tilson Homes is building two model homes in Waco including the Tampico, pictured above.
Tilson Homes, the family-owned, build-on-your-lot homebuilding company whose claim to fame is having “built more homes than any other build on your lot custom builder in Texas,” is building two model homes (Angelina and Tampico models) on its own Highway 6 lot. The sign went up and a temporary sales office opened a couple miles west of Lake Waco at 6146 N Highway 6 last week on October 13. Once completed, the model homes will become a new Waco sales center for the homebuilder.
While this will the builder’s first Waco office, the company has been building homes in McLennan county for years. In fact, for almost 90 years, families throughout Texas have trusted Tilson to create dream homes on their own land.
