Residents in East Waco now have a new weekly destination for fresh produce and artisan goods. The Bridge Street Farmers Market, a new market expansion of the Waco Downtown Farmers Market, debuted on Wednesday, March 28, at the Bridge Street Plaza, located at 200 E. Bridge St.
The market will take place every Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., providing local farmers and artisans with a platform to showcase their locally grown and produced goods. The market is currently accepting vendor applications, and those interested in supporting the launch can donate to the Waco Downtown Farmers Market. The goal of the Bridge Street Farmers Market is to enrich the culture of the community by providing access to locally sourced products.
